Escondido History Center
Our first History Mystery Challenge took place on August 19, 2010.
Join us in 2011 for the second edition.
Twelve teams joined us for an evening riddled with food, drink and fun with friends. First it was time to eat,
drink and relax. Then the rules were discussed and packets with 16 riddles to solve were handed out to each participant. And
finally, the race was on. Teams had up to 90 minutes to explore downtwon and find the answers before hustling
back to the History Center where they enjoyed dessert before awards were given out. Get ready for next year by recruiting
teammates early!
The Vintage Whiners (above) were awarded for their effort, the Slinky Sleuts, with feathered boas, were our Team Spirit Award winners, and the Slightly Sloshed Sleuts (right) won first place and bragging rights for a year! The competition included The TENS, Soul Sisters, Bond Burners, Movers & Shakers, WGASA, Informaniacs 2.0, Team Clueless, Three Winos and a Historian, and the Historically Inaccurate Coalition, aka H.I.C.s.
